HCMC speeds up the progress of land acquisition of 1,553 households to build a belt road
The competent authorities of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee are speeding up the progress of land acquisition for 1,553 households to build Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.
On October 27, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee inspected, surveyed the situation and listened to localities report on the progress of public investment disbursement and site clearance for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project, the section passing through the former Binh Duong province.
According to the report, the project to clear the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 from Thu Bien Bridge to Saigon River is 27.83km long. The reclaimed area is 250.46 hectares, affecting 1,553 households. The capital plan for 2025 is more than VND 7,307 billion.
Up to now, the measurement and announcement of land recovery work has been completed. The work of appraising drawings reached 58%, the counting reached 89%. The People's Committees of localities have approved land prices and compensation plans for 268 cases (more than 1,312 billion VND). The site handover area reached 13%, the compensation disbursement rate reached 17%.

Draft Land Price List 2026 in Hanoi, highest at 702 million VND/m2
The Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment has just submitted a draft on the development of the first land price list to be announced and applied from January 1, 2026.
In this table, land prices are divided into 17 areas after the arrangement of administrative units. In which, area 1 includes wards in Ring Road 1 such as Tay Ho, Ngoc Ha, Ba Dinh, Giang Vo, O Cho Dua, Hoan Kiem, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Cua Nam, Hai Ba Trung.
Of which, the highest residential land price is more than 702 million VND/m2 applied to plots adjacent to the road (location 1) on a series of roads such as Ba Trieu (from Hang Khay to Tran Hung Dao), Dinh Tien Hoang, Hai Ba Trung (from Le Thanh Tong to Quan Su).
