On December 17, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the 4th meeting of the Central Steering Committee on housing policies and the real estate market. Hung Yen province attended an online meeting at the meeting point of the Provincial People's Council - People's Committee headquarters.
Attending the Hung Yen Provincial Bridge point were Mr. Lai Van Hoan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of leaders of a number of related departments and branches.
Reporting to the Central Steering Committee at the provincial bridge, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lai Van Hoan said that there are currently about 138 housing development projects in the province that are and will be implemented, including 104 commercial housing projects and 34 social housing projects.

Implementing the social housing development target assigned by the Prime Minister, in the period of 2021 - 2024, Hung Yen province has completed 1,500 units, of which in 2025 alone, it is expected to complete 3,073 units.
There are 15 real estate trading floors and 13 real estate brokerage enterprises registered to operate in the province.
The real estate market in the province after the merger has changed positively, transactions tend to focus on areas with potential for development, especially areas near the capital Hanoi.
In addition to the achieved results, the development of housing and the real estate market in the province still has some difficulties and problems, such as: some investors have been allocated land but have not actively implemented projects; the investment attraction mechanism is not closely linked to the requirement to reduce selling prices, leading to social housing prices in the province remaining relatively high.

Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that this is a breakthrough term in housing development. To strive to complete the target of 1 million apartments by 2028, the Prime Minister requested localities to continue promoting the achieved results, proactively arranging land funds, speeding up investment procedures, ensuring the supply of construction materials, creating favorable conditions for social housing to develop sustainably, to the right subjects, to meet the needs of the people, contributing to reducing real estate prices and stabilizing social security.
During the implementation process, if difficulties and problems arise, ministries, branches and localities must promptly report to be resolved, not to allow it to be prolonged.
