According to the draw results, U20 Vietnam women's team is in Group B as host, meeting opponents U20 Kyrgyzstan, U20 Hong Kong (China) and U20 Singapore.
This year's qualifying round brings together 33 teams, competing from August 2 to 10, 2025, competing for 11 tickets to the Final Round in Thailand in 2026.

The teams are divided into 8 groups, including 7 groups of 4 teams and a group of 5 teams, competing in a round-robin format at locations in Bhutan, China, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
The group winners and the three best second-placed teams will join the host team Thailand to form the top 12 teams participating in the 2026 U20 Women's Asian Cup finals, taking place from April 1 to 18, 2026.
The qualifying round will also see the return of defending champion North Korea and three other former champions, Japan, South Korea and China. In addition, teams such as Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lebanon, Mongolia, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Timor Leste... will also strive to find a place in the Final Round for the first time.
