On October 23, the Labor Culture House sent a petition to the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to consider and approve the policy of building a pickleball court in the grounds of the Culture House, at No. 1, Tran Quoc Toan Street, Ward 10, Da Lat City.
The Labor Culture House project is expected to use an empty land of about 1,600 square meters behind the unit to build 4-6 pickleball courts.
Each court measures 18.3m x 9.1m, with a 10cm thick court surface, covered with a prefabricated canvas roof and sturdy iron frame.
Regarding this incident, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to research and submit a proposal report before October 26.
Up to now, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House is maintaining 29 cultural and sports clubs such as table tennis, badminton, dancing and martial arts.
However, due to the increasing number of clubs and high demand for training, the operating space has become limited. This reality requires the need to expand the sports infrastructure to serve the increasing demand among the people.
