On January 19, a delegation of the Vietnam Health Union led by Dr. Nguyen Luong Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Health Union, came to offer incense to commemorate, visit, encourage the family and posthumously award a Certificate of Merit to nurse N.T.C (46 years old, former nurse of the Department of Nephrology - Hemodialysis, Huu Nghi Hospital), at his private residence in Dong Anh commune, Hanoi City.
Throughout her career at the Department of Nephrology - Urology - Blood Purification, Huu Nghi Hospital, nurse N.T.C has always been highly appreciated by colleagues for her sense of responsibility and dedication to patients.
The incident happened when Ms. N.T.C had a brain hemorrhage and was taken to the Stroke Center, Central Military Hospital 108 for treatment. Although she was wholeheartedly treated by doctors and nurses, due to her severe illness, she did not survive. Her family made a very humane decision, donating organs from relatives to save other patients waiting for the opportunity to have organ transplants.
Members of the working delegation respectfully offered incense and expressed gratitude to a dedicated medical staff member, who devoted all his heart to the cause of caring for and treating patients and donated organs to save people after death.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Health Union expressed his emotion and appreciation for the noble gesture of donating organs to save people of nurse N.T.C. Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam affirmed that this is not only the pride of the family, of Huu Nghi Hospital but also a bright example of medical ethics, kindness and the spirit of dedication to the community of medical professionals.
The working delegation cordially visited and encouraged the two children of the female nurse, sharing the difficulties and losses that the family is facing. Chairman of the Vietnam Health Union Nguyen Luong Tam said that trade union organizations at all levels will continue to care for, accompany, and support the family, especially the study and stabilization of the lives of Ms. N.T.C's children in the coming time.

Family representatives emotionally expressed their gratitude for the timely care and sharing of the Vietnam Health Union, the Trade Union of Huu Nghi Hospital and colleagues. The encouragement both spiritually and materially is a great source of comfort, helping the family alleviate some of the pain and have more strength to overcome the difficult period.
