Korean Potato Salad, also known as "Gamja Saelleodeu" is one of the popular appetizers in the meals of the people of Kim Chi. This dish is easy to make, bringing cool and nutritious for users.
To make this salad, housewives will need 450gr of potatoes; 1 cucumber; 1 small carrot; 1/2 onion; 2 chicken eggs; 30gr mayonnaise; 5ml vinegar; 3gr salt and 2gr black pepper.
Next, peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces and boil with boiling water with a little salt. After the potatoes are cooked, remove and drain before pureing. Boiled chicken eggs, peeled, separated the yolk and whites, then crushed.
Cucumber washed, sliced, marinated with salt for 5 minutes and then drained. Carrots peeled, chopped and blanched through boiling water. Thinly sliced onions, soaked in cold water to reduce the spicyness.
In a large bowl, put the mixture of mashed potatoes, mashed eggs, cucumbers, carrots and chopped onions and add mayonnaise, vinegar, salt and pepper, mix until the ingredients blend together.
Put the potato salad mixture on a plate and decorate a little coriander or mint leaves to add an appeal to the dish. Korean -style potato salad should be used cold to feel the full taste.
