Highlights in the number of Creative Labor Certificates
2024 is the 4th year that Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet (born in 198) - an employee of the Production Engineering Department of Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. - has received the Creative Labor Certificate from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL). The initiative that helped her win this noble award is Increased achievements and reduced pipe cutting errors on JC4385 machines at CT block. This initiative was born when Ms. Tuyet realized that the tube cutter still had many errors, and the production process still had many manual operations, leading to low productivity.
From there, Ms. Tuyet and her colleagues researched and applied 4.0 technology using a barcode in combination with PLC to read and save processing information, using bright light sensors, sensors, PLC programming to control the alloy and automatic pipe timers to help reduce labor and increase accuracy in the production process. The initiative, after being applied to all pipe cutting machines in all 3 factories, has reduced arising costs, reduced pressure on inspection of defective pipe handling, manual pipe lifting... creating a comfortable mentality for users. The value of the profit is up to more than 1.9 billion VND.
Ms. Tuyet's initiative also contributed to the achievement of 13 initiatives receiving the Creative Labor Certificate of Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. - the leading unit in the number of initiatives receiving the Creative Labor Certificate in 2024.
It is known that in the period of 2020-2025, the whole city has 442 initiatives awarded the Creative Labor Certificate, with a total value of more than 270 billion VND. In 2024 alone, the movement will be implemented synchronously and widely to grassroots trade unions across the city, with more than 200 initiative dossiers proposing to be considered for the Creative Labor certificate, of which 79 outstanding initiatives were awarded the Creative Labor certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Leading in the number of initiatives receiving Creative Labor Certificates is Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. with 13 initiatives, Bridgestone Vietnam Tire Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Nichias Hai Phong Co., Ltd. with 6 initiatives... 94 collectives and individuals were also commended for Excellent Labor in 2024 at the city level.
Timely replication of advanced models
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation, in recent years, the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers" has encouraged tens of thousands of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) to actively research, innovate, and be creative in labor, production, and work. Thereby, thousands of initiatives, technical improvements, and production rationalization have been born each year, contributing to improving productivity, quality, labor efficiency and competitiveness of businesses and the city.
Along with the Good Workers - Creative Workers movement, the City Labor Federation also organized a Technical Innovation Contest among employees, attracting 930 topics and solutions to participate with an estimated profit value of more than 250 billion VND.
In order for the emulation movement of Good Workers - Creative Workers to become a reality, in 2025 and the following years, the City Labor Federation will innovate the form of propaganda to continue spreading the meaning of the movement, coordinating to promote the role of grassroots trade unions in discovering and introducing typical factors in initiatives and improvements. The grassroots trade union proposes and recommends that business owners increase the bonus level to encourage employees to boldly innovate and be creative at work.
