Accordingly, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security, the Youth Union of the Central Enterprise sector, the People's Public Security Trade Union (CAND), and the Trade Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology jointly organized a conference to hand over and receive socio-political organizations of MobiFone Corporation to the Ministry of Public Security.
The conference was attended by Major General Ngo Hoai Thu - Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security; Permanent Vice President of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology Nguyen Quang Huong; Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of MobiFone Nguyen Hong Hien and leaders and delegates of relevant agencies and units.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien pledged that MobiFone Trade Union members will continue to maintain the spirit of solidarity, innovation, constantly improve the material and spiritual life of workers, actively contribute to the overall development of the Corporation as well as the modernization of the public security sector.
"I believe and commit that under the direction and orientation of the Department of Party Work and Political Affairs, the People's Public Security Trade Union Committee, the People's Public Security Youth Committee, the Trade Union and the MobiFone Youth Union will reap many new successes in the future, together accelerating the breakthrough to successfully complete the tasks in the coming time," said Mr. Hien.
The Youth Union of MobiFone Corporation has 24 affiliated youth union organizations, 1,752 union members; MobiFone Trade Union has 24 grassroots unions and 11,261 union members.
Major General Ngo Hoai Thu acknowledged, commended and congratulated the activities that the MobiFone Trade Union and Youth Union have achieved in recent years in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
In particular, emphasizing the continued solidarity and efforts to maximize MobiFone's youth and creativity; continuing to promote the spirit of innovation and creativity, together with socio-political organizations in the People's Public Security to successfully complete tasks, especially promoting digital transformation activities in union activities.
Major General Ngo Hoai Thu suggested that the CAND Youth Union and the CAND Trade Union thoroughly grasp the motto of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security when receiving MobiFone to the Ministry of Public Security, which is "Coming to the Ministry of Public Security can only be better".
Accordingly, when receiving MobiFone's socio-political organizations, it is necessary to quickly stabilize and instruct organizations to immediately get involved in activities, in accordance with the orientation of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Central socio-political organizations. Especially activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force's Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
In addition to the three socio-political organizations in the People's Public Security, the People's Public Security Youth Union, the People's Public Security Women's Union and the People's Public Security Trade Union, the Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Affairs recommended that MobiFone's functional units should soon study and propose the establishment of the Women's Union of the unit.
