From emulation movements to concrete actions
In recent years, trade unions at all levels in Ninh Binh province have closely followed the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, proactively coordinating with the Department of Science and Technology to implement many practical activities to promote initiatives and improve techniques among workers. Thousands of topics and initiatives have been registered, approved and put into practice, creating great socio-economic efficiency, benefiting hundreds of billions of VND for businesses.
From cement and mechanical factories to the fields of textiles and food processing, a series of initiatives of workers have been applied to practical production, helping to save raw materials, reduce energy consumption, improve production lines, and increase labor productivity.
Typical examples include the initiative on "Diseaning and installing an auxiliary tigon system to support tire pressure"; the initiative of "Handcraft to install additional rotation axles for glue pumps on the HR line, rearrange glue pumps on the line structure" and the initiative "Handcraft to install additional operating floors that can be lifted down to the main HR station of the HR vehicle" of Mr. Bui Van Thinh - a worker working at the welding workshop of Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Manufacturing Joint Stock Company.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, more than 43,000 technical innovation and production rationalization initiatives were applied to production and work, with a value of hundreds of billions of VND. Of which, 385 initiatives were recognized as provincial-level initiatives; 172 outstanding individuals were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit.
Connecting initiatives and business benefits
Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor - said that workers' initiatives applied to production practices not only bring profits to businesses but also contribute to improving working conditions and improving the lives of workers. Improvements in the production line have helped reduce labor force, reduce costs, improve labor safety, and create a more friendly and civilized working environment. Thereby, labor relations in enterprises become harmonious, stable and progressive.
In the coming period (2025 - 2030), the Provincial Federation of Labor determined to continue promoting the emulation movement in a practical and effective direction, using initiative results as a measure of the capacity and responsibility of union members and union officials. The emulation of "Good workers, creative workers" is not a short-term movement, but a long-term strategy to improve labor productivity, competitiveness and affirm the position of Ninh Binh workers in the period of industrialization and modernization.
