88 union members and workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases or have had a working capacity reduction of 31% or more or work hard, toxic, dangerous and especially at enterprises in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City have participated in the first round of free vacations at Thanh Da Trade Union Hotel and accommodation organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
On May 24 and 25, union members and workers will be given free meals, examinations, and health consultations with a total value of VND2 million/person.
Mr. Pham Chi Tam - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - said that this is the first time the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has organized a vacation program for union members and workers.
According to the plan, in 2025, 5,000 union members and workers will benefit from this policy, with weekly Saturdays and Sundays off.
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation will spend 10 billion VND to help union members and workers have a vacation and health care to help union members and workers regenerate energy, reduce stress and fatigue after a hard working time, improve physical and mental health, thereby improving the quality of life.
After the first phase, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation will organize the following rounds for union members and workers in districts, sectors and blocks to take a vacation.
