On November 20, the leader of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor said that grassroots unions in the area are organizing congresses on schedule.
Recently, the Trade Union of Australis Vietnam Seafood Company Limited successfully held the 3rd Congress, term 20252030, evaluating many outstanding results in caring for workers' lives.
In the 2023-2025 term, the company's grassroots union has 338 union members. The Trade Union coordinates with the Board of Directors to fully implement collective labor agreements.
100% of employees are signed contracts in accordance with regulations, participate in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and are guaranteed salary, bonuses and benefits according to regulations. The unit also maintains an income increase policy through saving production costs.
Activities to care for union members are implemented regularly, including sick visits, donations, and support for cases of sudden difficulties.
In addition, the union organizes Tet activities, major holidays, Mid-Autumn Festival programs for 145 children of union members, maintains the Education Promotion Fund and gives gifts to thank union members for their long-term contributions.
In 2024, the gratitude level will be applied according to the time spent with the company: over 5 years is 1 million VND, over 10 years is 2 million VND, over 15 years is 3 million VND.
Women's work has also been practically implemented with sightseeing and discussion activities on International Women's Day March 8 and October 20, contributing to connecting the female workforce to account for a large proportion in the company.
Regarding social activities, in the two years 2024-2025, the trade union and workers have contributed more than 73 million VND to support people in the North and Central regions affected by storms and floods.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Trade Union aims to continue caring for workers' rights, increase legal propaganda, promote the application of technology in management and introduce at least 5 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission.
The Congress also elected a new Executive Committee consisting of qualified, capable and prestigious cadres to meet the requirements of the tasks in the coming period.
