According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Thanh - Vice President of the Binh Thanh District Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh City - in the past school year, grassroots trade unions of the school sector have implemented many practical activities, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of cadres, teachers and workers.
More than 1,000 union members who are cadres, employees, and teachers in difficult circumstances have been supported promptly through resources from the superior union and socialization work.
Emulation movements such as "Teaching well - Learning well", "Good work, creative work", "Good at school work - Good at home work" continue to be widely launched, creating a strong influence among the teaching staff.
These movements are closely linked to the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, while contributing to improving the quality of education at units.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the whole district has 10 grassroots unions recognized as "Excellent in completing tasks". The District Labor Federation has proposed a collective to receive the Comprehensive Emulation Flag, 2 collectives and 4 individuals to receive Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the conference, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation awarded 5 Comprehensive Emulation Flags and 17 Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals for outstanding units and union officials.
Binh Thanh District Labor Federation also awarded 143 certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in the 2024 - 2025 school year and honored 37 outstanding individuals in the 18th Chu Van An Excellent Teacher Competition.
