Workers are satisfied with the working environment

On September 15, Ms. Ka Siang - a sewing line worker at Kanaan Bao Loc Company Limited (Loc Son Industrial Park, Lam Dong province) - said that workers were very satisfied with the working environment here.

According to Ms. Ka Siang, the company's workers always have stable jobs, earning from 6.5 - 8 million VND/month. In particular, the union and the Board of Directors always care and support female workers to both complete their work and take good care of their motherhood.

"The company arranges shifts from 7:20 am to 4:00 pm, giving us time to take our children to school and take care of the family. In addition, the union also gave gifts and scholarships to workers' children. Thanks to that, everyone is excited and has been with the company for a long time, Ms. Ka Siang shared.

Mr. Bae Byoung Soo - Administrative - Human Resources Director of Kanaan Bao Loc Company Limited - said that the unit is a member of Kanaan Group (Korea), specializing in sewing and exporting backpacks and handbags. After 5 years of operation, the company has grown and currently employs more than 1,200 workers. Of which, more than 90% are women.

The workers here are very hard-working, committed and make an important contribution to the development of the company, Mr. Bae emphasized.

Creating the best working environment for workers

Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Kanaan Bao Loc Company Limited, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Trang, said that since the factory was built, the company has invested in a spacious medical area. When put into operation, the unit will arrange enough regular medical staff, clean and standard hospital beds.

Currently, the medical room has 10 beds, fully equipped with means for timely emergency care. The union also mobilized the Board of Directors to install a " Milk storage" area for female workers with young children. To date, the company has maintained 4 milking rooms with a suction machine and a refrigerator for safe storage.

Regarding shift meals, the company signed a contract with a professional food supplier. The trade union closely supervises from the ingredients to processing, ensuring quality and quantity meals. All of my vegetarian or religious and health needs are met.

In addition, every year the union coordinates to organize periodic health check-ups and occupational disease check-ups for 100% of workers right at the company. Female workers also receive free obstetrics and gynecology examinations, health consultations and medicine.

We always strive to coordinate with the Board of Directors to create the best conditions for employees, especially female employees, to help them take care of their families and stay with the company for a long time, Ms. Trang emphasized.
