On October 28, Do Vinh Ward Trade Union announced that the unit had successfully and well organized the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress evaluated the results of the activities of the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee and determined the direction and tasks of the workers, civil servants, and laborers movement as well as Trade Union activities in the new term.
Do Vinh Ward officially came into operation from July 1, currently has 9 grassroots unions with 1,813 employees, of which 763 are union members.
Immediately after its establishment, the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee has stabilized the organization, drafted the Regulations and the program of activities for the last 6 months of 2025.
The ward union promptly guides the facility to operate according to the new model and promotes propaganda of policies and guidelines after the merger.
At the congress, delegates agreed on 14 targets to strive for for for the 2025-2030 term.
In which: Developing 25% of existing union members and recruiting at least 90% of workers in units, organizations, and enterprises with trade unions; 100% of enterprises and public service units with 20 or more employees establishing grassroots unions; 60% of grassroots unions achieving "Completing tasks well"; 80% of grassroots unions of non-state enterprises organizing workers' conferences on time; at least 80% of grassroots unions of enterprises negotiating and signing collective labor agreements.
Each year, on average, each grassroots trade union introduces at least 1 outstanding union member to the Party for admission; registers and implements at least 1 emulation project, a typical part to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, emphasized the need for innovation and improving the quality of trade union activities in a practical, feasible and practical manner.
Ward trade unions need to strengthen coordination, proactively propose, supervise and criticize policies directly related to workers; at the same time, apply information technology in directing, managing finance and union members, improving operational efficiency, and practically serving union members.
At the congress, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the Do Vinh Ward Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
