Trade unions create a source of Party development in FDI enterprises

The female President of the grassroots trade union is dedicated to developing Party members

At the grassroots trade union of New Apparel Far Eastern Company Limited (Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park, Tan Phu town, Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province), the introduction and development of outstanding union members for the Party has always been focused on.

In 2024, the Dong Xoai - Dong Phu Industrial Park Trade Union Party Cell held a Party admission ceremony for 6 outstanding union members. Of the 6 party members admitted to the Party, 5 party members are union members of the New Apparel Far Eastern Company Limited Trade Union. New Apparel Far Eastern Company Limited currently has 32 cadres and workers who are party members, of which 20 party members are at their residence, 12 party members are at the Dong Xoai - Dong Phu Industrial Park Trade Union Party Cell.

Both participating in the Party Cell Party Committee and being the Chairwoman of the Trade Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi was assigned the task of discovering, training, and introducing outstanding union members to the Party, directly monitoring, educating, and helping some outstanding masses strive to join the Party.

Every year, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union make a list of outstanding people with clear background and achievements in production labor and trade union activities. Then organize propaganda about the Communist Party of Vietnam, consider sending them to political theory training classes, as a basis for proposing admission to the Party. After attending the training course, the Party members coordinated with the workshop and department to continue monitoring and helping until they were fully dressed, then proposed that the Party Cell issue a resolution for the elite to declare their personal records to join the Party.

Talking to reporters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi shared: In 2024, the company's grassroots trade union developed 6 party members. In 2025, there will be 1 mass preparing to be admitted. The unit is also striving to develop the Party for 17 comrades".

Focus on developing party members in FDI enterprises

The whole province of Binh Phuoc currently has 12 industrial parks and 1 economic zone, with a total of nearly 71,000 workers. The admission of party members and the development of Party organizations and unions in enterprises in industrial parks and economic zones is considered by the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee as one of the important tasks. The province is implementing project 09-DA/TU, aiming to admit 130 new party members or more by 2030, establishing 25-35 Party cells in enterprises in industrial parks and economic zones.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dai - Head of the Labor Affairs Department of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Federation of Labor - said: "Implementing Project 09 of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, in recent years, the Binh Phuoc Provincial Trade Union has been making efforts to actively participate in Party building work. Continuously promote its role as a bridge between the Party and workers. Accompanying Party committees at all levels in building and consolidating a strong grassroots political system". The provincial trade union launched many emulation movements such as "Good workers, creative workers", "Studying and following Uncle Ho", contributing to improving productivity, arousing a sense of responsibility and patriotism among union members, thereby discovering typical factors and creating a source for Party development.
