Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan - AB&C Fashion Company Limited - said: "Because of my habits and work, I hardly go for regular medical check-ups. The union organized a medical check-up for me and my colleagues in the company, so I am very happy."
According to the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor, the Your Health model has been organized by the unit in coordination with the Provincial Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital since 2018 on the occasion of the annual Workers' Month.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Trang - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Soc Trang Urban Construction Joint Stock Company - said that, in carrying out the role of accompanying workers, when being approached with the Your Health model launched by the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union immediately disseminated it to the groups, prioritizing those in difficult circumstances first to create more conditions for female workers to receive health care. "Every year, the company organizes periodic health check-ups for 363 workers. In 2024 alone, the Trade Union Executive Committee has gained the support of the Company's Board of Directors to support all female union members to receive additional reproductive health check-ups and give up the Your Health model check-ups organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor to other Trade Unions, so that female workers can receive better care," said Ms. Trang.
