On November 1, the City Civil Servants' Union coordinated with the Social Policy Bank of Da Nang City to organize a training conference on preferential loans for union members.
At the conference, delegates were guided by representatives of the Social Policy Bank of Da Nang city on some contents and procedures related to the loan program for city officials and civil servants.
According to Resolution No. 33/2024/NQ-HDND dated July 30, 2024 of the People's Council of Da Nang City regulating the entrustment of city budget capital through the branch of the Bank for Social Policies for lending, the loan recipients of this program are cadres, civil servants, and employees with indefinite-term contracts working in agencies and units with grassroots trade unions under the City Civil Servants' Trade Union, the City Industry Trade Union, the Trade Union of the High-Tech Park and Da Nang Industrial Parks.
Maximum loan amount is not more than 100 million VND/person. Maximum loan term is 120 months, loan interest rate is equal to loan interest rate for poor households in each period.
It is known that from 2012 to present, the loan program for city officials and civil servants from the trust fund of the City People's Committee through the Social Policy Bank of Da Nang City has disbursed to more than 2,500 union members and workers at grassroots trade unions under the City Civil Servants' Trade Union with difficult circumstances, with a total amount of more than 136 billion VND.
