On March 17, information from the Dak R'lap District Labor Federation said that recently, the unit held a ceremony to announce the Decision to admit union members and establish the Trade Union of Hiep Loan Import-Export Company Limited.
The grassroots union consists of 10 union members, the provisional Executive Committee consists of 3 people. In which, Ms. Tran Thi Thi Diep was appointed to hold the position of Provisional President.
Mr. Tran Van Luat - Chairman of the Dak R'lap District Labor Federation - said that he highly appreciated the attention of the company's leaders in creating conditions for workers to join the union and establish grassroots unions.
Mr. Luat suggested that the company's leaders continue to support the activities of the trade union and assign the task to the grassroots trade union to develop regulations to coordinate with the Board of Directors and the operating regulations of the provisional Executive Committee.
Grassroots trade unions need to proactively coordinate with the Board of Directors in implementing democratic regulations. In particular, it is necessary to focus on the role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
Ms. Tran Thi Thi Diep, representing the 10 union members, expressed her gratitude to the leaders of the Dak R'lap District Labor Federation and the Company's Board of Directors for their attention and facilitation in establishing the union organization.
Ms. Thi emphasized the role of trade unions in organizing emulation movements, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
