On May 12, Nghe An College of Economics and Technology No. 1 held a conference to improve occupational safety and hygiene and respond to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025.
The conference took place with the presence of representatives of the departments and branches of Nghe An province such as the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Industry and Trade, the provincial Labor Federation, the Southeastern Economic Zone Management Board, and many large enterprises located in the area. This is a key activity of the school in the month of action on occupational safety and health (OSH) in 2025, in order to raise awareness, responsibility and action in ensuring a safe and effective working environment.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Ngo Sy Thanh Tung - Vice Principal of the school - emphasized: "Obercial safety and hygiene training is not only a legal requirement, but also a responsibility and ethics for learners before entering the labor market. The school is committed to continuing to promote cooperation with businesses to improve training quality and ensure safety at the workplace.

At the conference, many opinions from representatives of the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Industry and Trade and the Provincial Federation of Labor all acknowledged the school's efforts in linking vocational training with production practice.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Trung - Director of Pha Le Plastic Production & Technology Joint Stock Company (Nghe An Branch) - shared: "Work safety cannot be done in one direction only. The school's initiative in training occupational safety and health is a key factor in helping businesses build a professional workforce, consciously protecting themselves and their colleagues".
An important highlight at the conference was the launching ceremony of the Road Safety and Labor Action Month 2025. On behalf of the school's Board of Directors, Mr. Ngo Sy Thanh Tung called on businesses to commit to accompanying and supporting the school in training and coaching occupational safety and health for students.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, there was a cooperation signing between the school and 10 typical enterprises and units such as Hoa Sen Nghe An Company, TH Milk Joint Stock Company, WHA Industrial Park, Tan Thang Cement Company, Nghe An Telecommunications Company... The cooperation memorandums of understanding demonstrate the commitment to coordination in vocational training and organizing occupational safety and health training at the unit.
In his closing speech, the school's leaders affirmed that this conference is a foundation to strengthen the connection between vocational training institutions and businesses, while strongly spreading the message of a safe culture in the working community.
