The event is a sports activity to increase solidarity and raise funds to support women and children in difficult circumstances in Bac Ninh province - where Diana Unicharm's factory is located.
The race is organized with two main events: Ekiden - traditional Japanese relay running and Fun Run individual. In the Ekiden competition, 15 teams took turns crossing 5.4 km by handing over the Tasuki silk strip - a symbol of will, team spirit and collective responsibility. Not only a physical race, Ekiden also symbolizes Japan and the Diana Unicharm corporate culture where collective strength is promoted.
The highlight of the program is the community fundraising activity. By purchasing souvenirs at the race, each employee directly contributed to the company's Community Fund. The entire amount of donations was converted into practical gifts, given to women and children in difficult circumstances in Bac Ninh.
At the event, Mr. Takahiro Okada - General Director of Diana Unicharm - shared: Towards the Business Vision to 2030, Diana Unicharm believes that sustainable development is not only measured by business results, but also by the value that the business brings to society. The For U For Future race is one of the activities to take care of health, bringing joy to employees and the local community. Diana Unicharm is committed to constantly innovating and creating to bring good quality products, contributing to improving the quality of life of Vietnamese consumers and building a socialist and compassionate society so that no one is left behind.
Along with production activities, Diana Unicharm is always persistent in implementing community-oriented programs, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility. In recent years, Japanese enterprises have actively supported health agencies in purchasing epidemic prevention equipment, donated millions of essential sanitary products during the Covid-19 pandemic, and joined hands to help people affected by Typhoon Yagi.
In particular, the company maintains the annual launching ceremony in response to ASEAN Dengue Fever Control Day - a practical activity to raise public awareness of preventive medicine. In addition, annual humanitarian blood donation activities are also a milestone in the journey for the community. Over the years, with the active participation of employees nationwide, the company has contributed millions of ml of blood to the national blood bank, contributing to saving thousands of patients and spreading the message "each drop of blood given - a life left behind".
