Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Also attending were Mr. Cha A Cua - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province; leaders of the People's Committee and People's Council of Son La province; leaders of departments, agencies, and branches of the province and 150 official delegates, representing more than 12,000 union members and workers in the province.
With the motto "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", at the opening session, delegates listened to a report on the working results of the first session of the 16th Provincial Trade Union Congress; Political report of the Executive Committee of the Son La Provincial Labor Federation, term XV, submitted to the Congress for the term 2025-2030; report on the results of trade union activities in the period 2023-2025 and goals and tasks in the coming time.
The Congress also listened to the Report summarizing the opinions and recommendations of union members, workers, and laborers to the Party, State, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and authorities at all levels.
In addition, many presentations were presented at the Congress, focusing on caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time proposing solutions to innovate trade union organization activities, especially at the grassroots level.
