In November 2025, the whole city of Hanoi has more than 38,000 people looking for jobs. A part of workers are affected by fluctuations in the world economy and global supply chain adjustments. These factors have affected export orders in some traditional markets, forcing some businesses to restructure production scale and review human resource quotas," said Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center.
Along with the increase in demand for job searches in positions of professional specialists/technicians, office workers, the desired salary of job seekers also fluctuates a lot. In the general segment, the 5 - 10 million VND is accounted for 51.2%; the 10 - 20 million VND is accounted for 316.%; the salary over 20 million VND is accounted for about 0.7%.
In terms of age, the young labor force aged 25-34 continues to be the largest job-seeking force, accounting for 46.4% (down 2.2% compared to the previous month). This shows that this generation of workers is in the most active career shift period. In contrast, the more experienced age group from 35-54 years old continued to take second place, accounting for 40.2%.
The demand for job search of workers in November focused on the following occupations: Office assistant (accounting for 34%), assembly and operation workers for machinery and equipment (accounting for 21.2%) and simple workers (accounting for 10.5%).
In terms of professional qualifications, the largest proportion is the group of "untrained" workers, accounting for over 50% of the total number of job seekers surveyed. Next is the group of workers with "technical workers' equal" qualifications, accounting for 23%. The labor group "University degree or higher" accounts for 17.2%. This shows that although the demand for seasonal recruitment increases at the end of the year, the opportunity to find stable and long-term jobs for the unskilled labor force is still limited.
