On the afternoon of June 23, the Hoa Binh Provincial Federation of Labor held the 7th Executive Committee Conference, assessing the results of trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year and deploying tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.
According to the report at the Conference, as of May 31, 2025, the whole province has 69,143 workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD), of which 66,414 people are union members. The Provincial Federation of Labor is managing 1,047 grassroots unions. The average income of workers is about 6.85 million VND/person/month. Labor relations are basically stable, there are no strikes in enterprises with trade unions.
In the first 6 months of the year, trade unions at all levels presented 5,073 Tet gifts, with a total value of more than 4.3 billion VND; presented 453 bus tickets to workers returning home for Tet; supported the construction of 6 "Union Shelters"; allocated 414 million VND in loans from the National Employment settlement Fund. Responding to Workers' Month 2025, more than 270 gifts were given to disadvantaged workers.
The work of developing union members has achieved positive results, admitting 322 new union members, establishing 2 grassroots unions with 293 union members, introducing 276 outstanding people for the Party to consider, of which 234 union members have been admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam. The work of collecting union funds and union fees continues to be seriously and effectively implemented.
According to the leader of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the focus in the last 6 months of the year is to continue to improve the quality of caring for and protecting the rights of union members, widely launch emulation movements, and promote propaganda towards the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).
