Benefits for employees in enterprises that meet cultural standards

Hanoi - For businesses to meet cultural standards, they must first ensure the legitimate and legal rights of employees.

Discussing the experience of building a business to achieve the title of "Cultural standard enterprise" in the period of 2023-2024, Mr. Phan Thanh Hai - Chairman of the Trade Union of Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. - shared: One of the prerequisites is to ensure the legitimate and legal rights of employees.

Here, 5,400 cadres, union members and workers are always cared for and enjoy many benefits.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - a worker at Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that every year, the Trade Union and the Company's Board of Directors coordinate to organize many activities for workers. These include sports activities, football tournaments, flower pageants, tourism... "These activities not only connect us workers but also help us have moments of rest, regenerate labor, and become more attached to the company and colleagues" - Mr. Tung said.

Mr. Kieu Van Trung was impressed with the annual Football Tournament organized by the Company's Trade Union, with 18-20 participating teams along with many awards and gifts.

At the end of the year, the entire Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. is looking forward to the year-end party day. There, they not only participate in games, enjoy delicious dishes, receive Tet gifts but also become the subject of activities here.

Not only organizing activities that benefit the entire company's employees, the Trade Union and the Board of Directors of Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. also organize meaningful propaganda and educational activities such as "Meiko Red Blood Drops Festival". Through propaganda and mobilization of union members and employees in the company to participate in voluntary blood donation, the Union and the company's leadership have educated union members and employees about the spirit of mutual love and support, about each person's responsibility to the community.

The above activities create a company culture - a corporate culture that is deeply imbued with each cadre, union member, and employee so that they are always proud of where they work. Therefore, Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. is one of the units certified by the Hanoi City Labor Federation to achieve "Cultural Standard Enterprise" in the period of 2023 - 2024.

It is known that the whole city currently has 3,059 units registered to meet cultural standards for the period 2023 - 2027. In early 2025, the Hanoi City Labor Federation organized an assessment, evaluation, and recognition of 2,780 "Cultural standard agencies, units, and enterprises" in the 2023-2024 period, including 539 agencies, 1,871 units, and 370 enterprises. As a result, 44/45 Trade Unions at the grassroots level achieved and exceeded the rate assigned in Program 06 of the Hanoi Party Committee.
