On November 28, the Trade Union of Hoang Lien Son Technical Quarter Joint Stock Company held its 14th Congress, term 2025-2030.
The report at the congress said that for the 2023-2025 term, the company's Trade Union has exceeded 1 target and achieved 7/8 of the targets set by the Resolution, in the context of businesses being affected by the raw material market, natural disasters and competitive pressure.
The lives and jobs of workers are stable: Average income reaches 8.2 million VND/person/month; 100% of workers participate in all types of insurance; periodic health check-ups are maintained; the company ensures nutritious shift meals and arranges shift accommodation for workers in production departments.
The trade union coordinated professionally to organize tours and vacations with a total budget of 1.82 billion VND; fully implemented the bonus regimes for holidays, Tet, birthdays, and initiatives, of which the initiative bonus alone reached 684 million VND.
The Union also did a good job of visiting, supporting difficulties and mobilizing the construction of a "Union Shelter" worth 50 million VND for union members in special circumstances.
During the term, the Trade Union has proactively dialogueed with employers, negotiated and signed Collective Labor Agreements with many provisions that are more beneficial than the law such as shift meal support, diligence bonuses, and 13th month salary.
Every year, over 90% of workers achieve the title of Advanced Worker; 13 initiatives are recognized, including the winning initiatives at the Yen Bai Provincial Technical Innovation Competition. Women's work is maintained regularly with many practical activities to care for female workers.
In her speech, Chairwoman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem highly appreciated the achievements of the company's Trade Union, and at the same time proposed that the 2025-2030 term continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; improve the quality of dialogue and supervision of policy implementation.
Focus on taking care of the welfare and grasping the thoughts and aspirations of workers; building a team of responsible and courageous union officials; promoting emulation movements and party development work among workers; strengthening the application of digital transformation in union member management and union activities.
The Congress elected the 14th Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term. The Trade Union of Hoang Lien Son Technical Quarter Joint Stock Company aims to continue accompanying businesses, ensuring rights, and improving the lives of workers.
