On October 31, the Ba Ria Ward Trade Union (HCMC) said that the unit had successfully organized the 1st Ward Trade Union Delegation Conference for the 2025-2030 term.
The conference was attended by delegates representing the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; leaders of Ba Ria ward and 50 delegates representing more than 4,800 union members in the area.

In the 2025-2030 term, the unit sets the goal of "Building and strengthening a strong trade union organization"; sets out targets such as: striving to develop more than 100 new union members per year; introducing outstanding union members to the Party for consideration; mobilizing at least 80% of enterprises to sign collective labor agreements....
The conference also announced the decision on personnel, launching the Executive Committee of 9 comrades (inadequacy 1); in which, Mr. Phan Ly Chinh Luan will be the Chairman of the Ba Ria Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030.
