In the period of 2023 - 2025, for women's work, the Trade Unions at all levels of Dong Thap province have focused on implementing propaganda and concretizing the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's laws and policies on marriage, family, gender equality, prevention of domestic violence, violence against women and children, etc. As a result, over 95% of the Trade Unions have chosen forms suitable to the characteristics of the unit and enterprises to organize propaganda with diverse and practical content and forms among union members and workers.
The Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor directs all levels of Trade Unions to organize well the activities to celebrate the International Women's Day (8.3), International Day of Happiness (20.1), Vietnamese Family Day (6.28), Vietnamese Women's Day (10.20)... in accordance with meetings, traditional review talks, competitions, etc.
According to the assessment, through the activities, female members and employees have the opportunity to exchange, learn, and enhance their understanding of the glorious traditions of Vietnamese women, actively participate in effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the successful completion of the political tasks of the unit and enterprise.
For the emulation movement "Good at public affairs, good at housework" associated with "Women who actively study, work creatively, and build happy families" was widely launched. Every year, 90% to 95% of female union members and employees register and achieve the title of "Good at public work, good at housework"; many collectives and individuals receive certificates of merit from the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Trade unions at all levels have proactively participated in inspection, supervision and proposed that the authorities, functional agencies and employers pay attention to implementing well policies and laws related to female workers. Regularly organize activities and models to care for female workers, build a warm, progressive and happy family such as: Your Health model, Collective weddings, Breastfeeding room, Contributing capital to help each other in the economy: mutual support model, Pregnant and breastfeeding club, etc.
According to the orientation for the period 2025 - 2030, the work of women's work of the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union will continue to promote information and propaganda work on the Party's directives and resolutions and the State's policies and laws related to female and child labor; improve the quality of activities of the Women's Union of the Mass, promote the role of the Women's Union;...
The Provincial Trade Union continues to pay attention to training and fostering professional skills, improving qualifications and capacity for female cadres, proactively advising the Party Committee on planning, training, fostering and using female cadres; introducing outstanding female members to the Party for consideration of admission.
