In order to practically achieve the feat of celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th An Giang Provincial Police Union Committee and philanthropists organized many meaningful activities towards the grassroots, joining hands for the community in some communes in the province.
At the headquarters of Tan An Commune Police, Vinh Xuong, Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Sang - Head of the Political Affairs Department, Head of the Youth Union kindly visited the lives of officers and soldiers, and presented many gifts including necessities such as: Rice, noodles, cooking oil, sugar, powder, etc. to share and encourage officers and soldiers at the grassroots level to overcome difficulties and work with peace of mind.
Visiting Tan Thanh Primary School, Tan An Commune, the delegation presented 1,000 notebooks, 50 boxes of notebooks and 20 health insurance cards to students in difficult circumstances.
The total value of the gifts is nearly 40 million VND from the union budget and mobilized from socialized sources.
Through this activity, the An Giang Provincial Police Trade Union expressed interest, encouraged the spirit, and expressed gratitude for the contributions of the Commune Police force in ensuring security, order and local development; strengthened the close relationship between the Police force and the school, contributing to promoting the movement of the entire people to protect national security.
