On the morning of October 31, the Central Emulation and Reward Committee held an Award Ceremony for the writing contest on advanced examples in the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" and "For the poor - No one is left behind" for the period 2021-2025 with the theme "Fols on the journey of innovation".
In his opening speech, Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan said that the writing contest about advanced models in the emulation movement is an activity of profound political and social significance, contributing to spreading the spirit of patriotic emulation, discovering, honoring and replicating typical examples in the country's key emulation movements.
At the same time, the contest also contributes to widely propagating the policies and guidelines of the Party and State on building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction.
After more than 2 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has received nearly 1,000 entries from all over the country. From that rich number of articles, more than 110 works with quality and correct rules were selected for the preliminary round. The judges selected and included the 33 best works in the final round and selected the best works.
"The most appreciated thing about the contest is the widespread influence and the response of many classes of people. From professional journalists, reporters, editors to non-professional writers, teachers, students, health workers, workers, farmers and even Vietnamese people living and working abroad" - Deputy Head of the Department Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized.
In addition, many works have been invested in by authors, vividly and emotionally reflecting on simple and extraordinary people - those who not only overcome difficulties and rise up in life but also spread the spirit of compassion, contributing to building a better community.
Some works are submitted with vivid models and illustrations, expressing creativity and strong belief in the vitality of the patriotic emulation movement in the new period.
Each article is a beautiful story, a small painting contributing to creating a big picture of the patriotic emulation movement of our people in the period of innovation and integration.

At the Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 5 Encouragement Prizes to the winning authors and groups of authors; awarded prizes to collectives and individuals with many entries, individual prizes with impressive entries and typical and advanced collectives; at the same time, organized a ceremony to express gratitude to sponsors and interact with the winning authors.
The work "Peaceful Border Support" (series of 5 periods) by the group of authors Tran Tuan Ngoc, Le Thanh Cuong, Lao Cai Radio and Television Newspaper won the First Prize.
The 2 works that won the Second Prize include: "Rural digital transformation: Breakthrough from Phuong Duc" (2 volumes) - author group Bach Thi Thanh, Nguyen Huu Tiep, Hanoi Moi Newspaper; "Imprints of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the highlands of Bac Kan" (2 volumes) - author group Lieutenant Colonel Pham Quang Kien, Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Duy, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Thanh Hong, To Minh Ngoc, People's Army Newspaper and the Institute for Military Rehabilitation Science Research.
