Decision No. 05/2020/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province (effective from February 20, 2020) stipulates support policies for part-time workers in villages, residential groups, village police officers and secretaries of Youth Union branches and heads of associations in villages and residential groups who are redundant and no longer work when arranging and merging villages and residential groups in Quang Ngai province.
Accordingly, one of the subjects of this support policy is the Head of the Front work of the redundant villages and residential groups who do not continue to work when implementing the arrangement and merger of villages and residential groups according to Resolution No. 15/NQ-HDND dated July 10, 2019 of the Provincial People's Council on arrangement, merger, and renaming of villages and residential groups in Quang Ngai province.
According to the decision, the Head of the Village Front and Residential Group will receive one-time support as follows:
a) Under 5 years: 6,000,000 VND/person
b) From 5 years to under 10 years: VND 8,000,000/person.
c) From 10 years to under 15 years: 10,000,000 VND/person.
d) From 15 years old and above: 12,000,000 VND/person.
Thus, the Head of the Village Front in Quang Ngai who is redundant due to administrative unit arrangement will receive different levels of support depending on the working time.
