According to this decision, Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee assigned the Project Management Board of Civil and Industrial Works of the province to be the investor of 5 investment projects to build Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary Schools in 5 border communes in the province.
5 projects assigned as investors include: Project to invest in the construction of Muong Pon Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School; Na Sang; Muong Cha; Na Hy and Muong Nhe.
Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee also requested the investor to be responsible for urgently organizing the project implementation in accordance with the prescribed order and procedures.
Dien Bien province implements the Campaign to build schools for 15 border communes, implementing Conclusion No. 81-TB/TW of the Politburo and Resolution 298/NQ-CP of the Government.
In the period 2025-2026, the province will build 10 new inter-level ethnic minority boarding primary and secondary schools in the communes of: Thanh Nua, Sin Thau, Quang Lam, Na Bung, Nam Ke, Thanh Yen, Muong Nha, Nua Ngam, Sam Mun, Si Pa Phin; complete before August 30, 2026.
In the 2026-2028 period, continue to build the remaining 5 schools in Na Sang, Muong Cha, Muong Pon, Muong Nhe, Na Hy, striving to have 15/15 schools in the border area by 2028.
Previously (January 31st) at Si Pa Phin Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School (Si Pa Phin commune, Dien Bien), General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Delegation attended the inauguration ceremony.
This is the first project to reach the finish line in the campaign to build 248 schools in border areas according to the policy of the Politburo.
