Hanoi announces teacher recruitment forms in 2025
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just announced the civil servant recruitment plan for 2025 with a total target of 942 people, including 848 teachers and 94 employees working at public educational institutions under the Department. Candidates must meet general conditions such as: Vietnamese nationality, 18 years old or older, have an application form, du documents and certificates as required, and have health and quality suitable for the job position.

The recruitment form is implemented according to the provisions of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP and Decree 85/2023/ND-CP of the Government. Round 1 is to check the admission conditions on the registration form, if they meet the requirements, they will be able to participate in round 2. Round 2 of the written professional exam, in which candidates registering to become teachers will have to demonstrate their ability to prepare lesson plans, organize teaching, and handle pedagogical situations; while the positions of school staff in the professional exam are linked to practical work.
The time to receive application forms is until September 16, 2025 at the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (No. 23, Quang Trung Street, Cua Nam Ward). Adjusting fees other than tuition in public schools in Cao Bang
The People's Council of Cao Bang province, term XVII, has just passed Resolution No. 08/2025/NQ-HDND, amending Article 4 on Regulations on fees and fees for services serving and supporting educational activities other than tuition fees at public educational institutions. The Resolution takes effect from July 19, 2025, applying to kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and high schools in the province.
According to the resolution, many school services are subject to maximum collection. For example, daycare for children is 4,500 VND/hour (preschool), after-sales care is 6,000 VND/hour (preschool, primary school), afternoon session child care is 165,000 VND/month (excluding food allowance). Preschool English proficiency activities are limited to VND9,000/hour; life skills, arts, sports, STEM activities VND9,000/hour or lessons. Schools owe tuition fees for more than 10 years, Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee requests payment
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has sent an official dispatch to relevant departments and branches regarding the fact that Vietnam - Korea - Quang Ngai College owes teachers salaries and overtime teaching fees. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate the review and guidance of the school to rebuild an autonomy plan according to Circular 56/2022/TT-BTC; at the same time, the school is required to proactively balance funding sources to prioritize paying salaries and overtime pay for lecturers.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Vietnam - Korea - Quang Ngai College to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Home Affairs to complete the School Council, ensuring compliance with the provisions of Circular 15/2021/TT-BLDTBXH on the College Charter. This is to perfect the governance mechanism, as a basis for re-approved the financial autonomy plan.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that the school owed more than 6.3 billion VND, of which the debt for overtime teaching for 10 years was more than 4 billion VND. Following the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, on August 15, 2025, the school paid more than 2 billion VND in salaries to lecturers but still owed overtime.
