On November 18, the Vietnam Seed Fund - Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with Tuyen Quang province organized the program "Scholarship on Vietnamese Seed for Poor Students Overcoming Difficulties".

The "Vietnamese Seed" scholarship project has been implemented by the Vietnam Seed Fund - Nhan Dan Newspaper and Techcombank (the founding unit) since 2024, with a total amount of 1.5 billion VND donated in 6 border provinces with many difficulties including: Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang (old Ha Giang), Lao Cai, Cao Bang and Lang Son. Each year the project is implemented in 2 provinces.

In 2025, the Fund will continue to award 25 scholarships to new students who are children of poor households and ethnic minorities in Tuyen Quang province, have high exam scores and are admitted to universities and colleges. Thereby, to encourage and motivate the spirit of overcoming difficulties and improving in their studies. Each scholarship is worth 10 million VND.

This year's scholarship awarding activities in Tuyen Quang continue to affirm the profound humanistic meaning of the Vietnam Seed Fund. This is a timely source of encouragement, helping new poor students, especially ethnic minority students, to reduce difficulties when entering the university and college environment; at the same time, adding confidence and determination for them to strive to study, become useful citizens for society and contribute to their homeland after graduation.

After 13 years of establishment, the Vietnam Seed Fund has awarded hundreds of gratitude houses, hundreds of savings books to families with preferential policies and meritorious services to the Revolution, families affected by natural disasters, families in especially difficult circumstances in many provinces and cities across the country and nearly 3,000 scholarships to poor and studious students.
