On December 15, Tay Tuu A Primary School (Hanoi) organized an exchange program to connect with artists with the theme "culture and art in education and life", with the participation of artist Nguyen Thu Quynh - director and actress of Tuoi Tre Theater and artist Lai Huy Hoang - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Secretary of the Youth Union of Tuoi Tre Theater.
This is the content of the thematic session assigned by the Tay Tuu Ward Department of Culture and Social Affairs to the school, in the context of the Ministry of Education and Training issuing documents guiding the strengthening of cultural and artistic education and inviting experts and artists to participate in educational activities in high schools.
Sharing about her journey to pursue a career, artist Nguyen Thu Quynh said that born into a family with an artistic tradition, she was exposed to the profession early. However, because he understood the hardships of this field, her father did not support his daughter's pursuit of art, while her mother secretly created conditions for her to nurture her passion.

During her high school years and early college, she faced a lot of pressure from her family. After passing the entrance exam to Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema, for the first three years, her father hardly asked her about studying.
It was not until her third year of college, when she was performing on stage, that her father came to watch and gradually understood her child's choice. According to Ms. Thu Quynh, that moment helped her become more confident in the path she had chosen.

From personal experience, the female artist believes that parents should accompany their children in orienting their future, respecting their interests and creating conditions for them to experience reality.
She suggested that parents can let their children participate in short-term courses in areas they are interested in, thereby helping them better understand their profession, identify difficulties and challenges and self-assess their suitability.
Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Luong - Principal of the school believes that for primary school students, art plays an important role in shaping personality. Lessons, exchanges associated with music, stage or performance help students be more excited, while contributing to nurturing emotions, love for beauty and positive values in life.
Inviting artists to interact and share not only brings new experiences to students but also helps them have more motivation to study.
"These practical lessons will help children be more interested, have the opportunity to interact with the artists and actors they love, thereby forming dreams for themselves" - Ms. Luong said.

Artist Lai Huy Hoang said that when participating in activities at school, he had the opportunity to share practical knowledge about the field of stage and art with students. According to him, direct contact helps children have a more specific view of the profession, instead of just imagining it through books or the media.
He also commented that when artists participate in teaching and interacting at high schools, the responsibility to convey positive messages to students and the public becomes even clearer. The coordination between schools and artistic units will create a space connecting education and culture, bringing lively lessons to students.
Similarly, artist Nguyen Thu Quynh believes that sharing from practitioners can help students visualize their future learning path more clearly, thereby quickly determining goals and building plans suitable to their abilities and interests.
