Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal reported that on the morning of October 9, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Dung inspected the construction progress of Component Project 2 of the Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway Construction Project, Phase 1. Thereby, he requested the units to focus on solutions to speed up the construction progress.
Component project 2 is about 11.45 km long, with a preliminary total investment of more than VND 3,850 billion, with the People's Committee of Tien Giang province (now the People's Committee of Dong Thap province) as the managing agency. To date, the project's construction value has been completed by more than 53%.

Currently, the project is facing obstacles due to the entanglement of 02 medium-voltage power lines, which are the 220kV Cai Lay - Cao Lanh high-voltage line affecting the construction of Ba Huong bridge; the 500kV Song Hau - Duc Hoa high-voltage line affecting the construction of Danh Cuu bridge.
In the face of the above situation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Dung requested relevant units to increase human resources and equipment to speed up the construction progress of the entire route, especially at the intersection with the Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway; it is necessary to specifically assess the progress of each item, proactively develop a detailed construction plan, and determine a clear timeline to ensure general progress and technical quality.

Mr. Dung requested the Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board to review and synthesize the investment needs for residential access routes for construction; at the same time, coordinate with relevant units to determine appropriate technical solutions for construction to speed up progress at locations with land clearance problems, before relocating the power system.
