Investing in public health
Data from the World Cancer Organization (GLOBOCAN 2022) shows that Vietnam recorded 16,835 cases of colorectal cancer and 16,277 cases of stomach cancer. These are two diseases with the highest number of cases of gastrointestinal cancer in Vietnam. Of which, stomach cancer ranks third in terms of the cause of death from cancer, according to statistics from GLOBOCAN 2022. [TN1]
Faced with that reality, since 2024, Manulife has launched a journey to raise public awareness of digestive health through the campaign "Clean - Smart - Green Living". By 2025, with the program "Choose FREEN for E-commerce", Manulife encourages people, especially young people aged 25 to 45, to maintain a healthy lifestyle and proactively monitor their health periodically. In addition, the program also contributes to promoting the role and social responsibility of the health sector, businesses and social organizations in protecting, caring for and improving public health.

Ms. Tina Nguyen - General Director of Manulife Vietnam said: "The campaign "Choose FREEN THian F few People" is part of Manulife's commitment to invest in public health, to accompany Vietnamese people to improve digestive health. This year, we focus on the younger generation because they are the main labor force of the country in the future. We believe that a healthy young generation will contribute to building a sustainable country.
Throughout the campaign, the Manulife consulting team will accompany the role of "Healthy Living Su Su". Manulife hopes that through this role, the consulting team will become a long-term companion on the customer's healthy life journey.
