Developing new professional operating standards in the logistics industry
Located at Yen My Industrial Centre, Hung Yen - a strategic location associated with the Hanoi - Hai Phong economic corridor, the new goods classification center is designed by SPX as an important operational intersection in the national logistics network.
With a total area of 170,000 m2, the project will become SPX's largest automatic classification center in Southeast Asia, playing a key role in the distribution and transportation of goods across many different transport routes, from domestic to cross-border. When put into operation, the center is expected to create more than 3,000 job opportunities for local workers, contributing to promoting the regional economy.

The goods classification center in Hung Yen designed by Frasers Property Vietnam is the first built-to-suit project in Vietnam to apply a 2-storey cross-dock system, a breakthrough in logistics design, helping to optimize the processing process and significantly shorten the time to circulate goods. With a completely independent traffic flow between the two floors, this structure allows many cross-dock vehicles to simultaneously unload at 158 loading and unloading gates, connecting to more than 700 classification points nationwide. The center is also equipped with a new generation of automatic classification system, capable of automatically classifying and processing up to 7 million documents per day.

By applying modern technology solutions to the Commodity Classification Center in Hung Yen, SPX will greatly improve operational capacity and performance, thereby processing and delivering millions of packages, serving the increasing demand for domestic goods transportation with the criteria of fast - Young - An Toan.
In addition, the project being built at the Yen My Industrial Centre Industrial Center - which has achieved Gold LEED certification also shows SPX's commitment to achieving the goal of sustainable logistics development.

The groundbreaking ceremony was honored to have the participation of Mr. Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to Vietnam. The Ambassador assessed that the project clearly demonstrates the strong development of the e-commerce industry in Vietnam, and is also a testament to the confidence, desire to invest and long-term commitment of Singaporean enterprises, such as Sea Limited and SPX Express, to the potential and prospects of the Vietnamese digital economy, as well as the efforts of the Vietnamese Government in building a stable and transparent policy environment, creating healthy development conditions for both domestic and international enterprises.
