Create incentives to promote initiatives
To encourage union members and employees to actively compete in the "Good workers, creative workers" competition, the company's grassroots union has advised the Board of Directors to implement many preferential policies such as: each individual with initiatives, improvements, and production cost savings will be rewarded with an amount of 3 million VND; periodically, consider raising salaries for employees who have excellently completed assigned tasks, with an increase rate of about 10% and participate in training courses, professional development, etc.
"Along with preferential policies, the Trade Union also deeply understands the thoughts, aspirations, strengths... thereby motivating union members and employees to work enthusiastically, develop their full capacity, work effectively and productively," shared pharmacist Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Vice President of the Company's Trade Union.
Ms. Linh herself is also one of the members with many initiatives and improvements contributing to the development of the unit, with many noble awards such as: Creative Labor Certificate, Nguyen Duc Canh Award of the General Confederation, Ton Duc Thang Award of An Giang province...
Outstanding initiatives from these preferential policies include: "Standardizing box and crate sizes" to save the company 624 million VND/year; the initiative "Improving the manual bottle washing process to blowing dust by machine and disinfecting with ozone" to bring about a profit of 110 million VND/year; the initiative "Manufacturing an automatic effervescent tablet filling machine", the initiative "Improving and automating the RO water treatment system", each initiative saves 300 million VND... along with many other initiatives and technical improvements that bring economic efficiency to the company, contributing to increasing labor productivity, reducing product costs, and bringing practical benefits to consumers.
Not only did the company raise their salaries and give them bonuses, in the past 2 years, the company has had 6 workers receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for "Excellent and Creative Workers", 2 workers received the "Ton Duc Thang" Award from An Giang province, 1 worker received the Nguyen Duc Canh Award and many individuals received the Certificate of Creative Labor from the General Confederation.
Many preferential policies and regimes for female workers
The Trade Union coordinates with the Board of Directors to develop the Collective Labor Agreement based on the collection of employees' opinions; at the same time, regularly monitor and evaluate the implementation of the agreement, and propose to the Board of Directors to amend and supplement when necessary. Once a quarter, the Trade Union organizes a business dialogue integrated into the meetings of all staff and employees to grasp their thoughts and aspirations.
With close coordination between the Union and the Board of Directors, the company has implemented well the social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, salary and allowance regimes according to regulations for employees; ensuring jobs, working hours, rest hours, and quality meals between shifts to ensure nutrition.
In particular, the company has implemented many preferential policies for female employees such as: half a day off for vaccinations for children or during pregnancy, postnatal leave support of 600,000 VND/case; 60 minutes off per day when raising children under 12 months old; support for funerals, visits to the sick, allowance for 3rd shift...
To take better care of workers, the Trade Union advised the company's Board of Directors to take advantage of funds collected from selling scrap to improve meals, increase compensation for workers; organize meetings, cook meals, give gifts, and go on tours for female workers on March 8 and October 20...
