Union promptly cares for union members and workers

In the third quarter of 2024, the trade unions at all levels of Hung Yen province have stepped up the work of caring for union members and workers.

On September 27, Mr. Le Quang Toan - Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor said that, implementing the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Federation of Labor issued the Guidelines for organizing "Union Meals" in 2024 to all levels of unions in the province. As of today, through synthesis, there have been 68 organizing units with 18,254 participants, with a total amount of 1,235,338,900 VND. Of which, the union budget is 790,716,900 VND; professional support: 408,340,000 VND; socialization: 36,282,000 VND.

After storm No. 3, the Provincial Federation of Labor directed all levels of unions in the province to grasp the production and business situation and summarize the units, enterprises, and workers affected by storm No. 3 - Yagi. Through the summary, there were no union members, employees, and workers who suffered accidents, injuries, or went missing due to the storm's impact.

The Provincial Federation of Labor also promptly issued an official dispatch on spending to care for and support union members and workers affected by storm No. 3 from the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund; an official dispatch requesting the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to supplement support policies for union members, workers, and businesses affected and to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

At the same time, the Provincial Labor Federation received 100 boxes of instant noodles from the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund; 100 boxes of instant noodles and 30 boxes of candies from units, businesses and organizations to give to union members and people of Hung Yen city, flooded communes and units directly affected by floods in Khoai Chau district...

In the third quarter, the Provincial Federation of Labor also signed a cooperation program with Hai Ha - Kotubuki Company Limited on the Welfare Program for union members and workers in Hung Yen province for the period 2024-2026; signed a cooperation program with the Vietnam Construction Trade Union for the period 2024-2028...
