Phu Yen - The grassroots trade unions of the Government Block under the Phu Yen Civil Servants' Trade Union organize many volunteer activities for the community.

The Government Bloc Trade Union consists of 13 grassroots trade unions. With the motto "Working well together, sharing together", in recent times, the trade union has always tried to connect grassroots trade unions, calling on individuals to join hands to support difficult circumstances in Phu Yen province.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chanh - Chairman of the Trade Union of the Phu Yen Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board - Head of the Government Trade Union, said - Charitable humanitarian activities have been given great attention by the Trade Union for many years. The Trade Union has organized many trips to give houses and bicycles to support poor households, households in difficult circumstances, and poor and studious students in the province, worth hundreds of millions of VND.

Recently, the Government Trade Union presented 15 bicycles to support students of Son Dinh Primary and Secondary School (Son Hoa District). Most of the children who received bicycles are from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Ksor Y Bac (4th grade student) is the youngest of four siblings. His mother is often sick, and the family depends on his father's income from farming. Due to economic hardship, all of Bac's siblings dropped out of school.

The house is far from school, and there is no bicycle, so in both sunny and rainy days, Bac's father takes him to school with the hope that he will be able to pursue his dream of studying and his life will be free from poverty. Therefore, when the Government Union gave him a bicycle, both Bac and his father were very happy.

Together with helping those in difficult circumstances to rise up in life, the Government Bloc Trade Union also joins hands to support families with preferential policies to build houses; give breeding animals to poor households in mountainous areas of the province to create livelihoods and jobs for them to rise up out of poverty...

According to Mr. Le Thanh Tung - Chairman of the Phu Yen Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, in recent times, the Government Bloc Trade Union has organized many meaningful programs and activities, demonstrating innovation in the activities of the trade union organization.

Along with the core task of taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, the Union's volunteer work has also spread widely to many establishments. The programs pay deep attention to difficult circumstances, especially poor and studious students. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Civil Servants' Union hopes that volunteer activities will continue to be promoted further by unions at all levels in the coming time.
