Soc Trang supports union members with serious illnesses

Soc Trang - A Union member with a serious illness was happy to receive a Tet gift from the union.

On January 20, the Soc Trang Province Industrial Parks Trade Union organized a gift-giving program for union members and workers who suffered work-related accidents, occupational diseases, and serious illnesses of affiliated grassroots trade unions.

At the program, leaders of the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation presented 21 gifts, each worth 1 million VND.

Receiving the New Year gift, Ms. Tran Bich Chi - a member of the Union of Tuntex Soc Trang Vietnam Co., Ltd. - shared: "I have a liver tumor, so most of my monthly income is spent on treatment. Today, receiving the gift from the Union, I am very touched, it helps me have more funds to continue treatment and recover soon."

At the gift-giving ceremony, Ms. Tran Ngoc My - Vice President of the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation - sent New Year greetings, asked about health, sympathized with the situation, and encouraged union members to continue working, laboring, and producing with businesses in the coming time.
