The next session took place on the occasion of the delegation attending the parade and parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Welcoming the British Communist Party delegation, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Ha Thi Nga expressed her joy when the delegation attended the parade and parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the success of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); and respectfully thanked the delegation for visiting and working with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
On this occasion, Vice President Ha Thi Nga expressed her sincere thanks, best wishes for health and best wishes from Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to the delegation.

Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga shared that over the past 80 years, since President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to a Democratic Republic of Vietnam at the historic Ba Dinh Square, Vietnam has had remarkable and miraculous changes. To achieve these results, it is not only the efforts of the people, the wise and talented leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, but Vietnam also receives the support and enthusiastic help of international friends and peace-loving and progressive people around the world.
In particular, we highly appreciate and thank the help of the British Communist Party and the progressive people in England in the journey to build the country, especially in the two great resistance wars of Vietnam, up to this point, the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, Vice President Ha Thi Nga expressed.
Vice President Ha Thi Nga believes that with the affection and support of international friends, Vietnam will have new developments to implement the policy and determination to build Vietnam into a new era, an era of prosperous development, bringing a prosperous and happy life to the Vietnamese people; at the same time, she hopes that in the coming time, Vietnam will continue to receive support and help from communist parties around the world, including the British Communist Party in sharing experiences to promote the friendly cooperation between the two countries as well as between the British Communist Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam.
At the reception, the Secretary of the British Communist Party expressed his joy that Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front had warmly welcomed the delegation; and expressed his special impression when the delegation was present in Hanoi, attended the parade, parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and felt the enthusiasm and strong patriotism of the Vietnamese people.
Not only communists in the UK but communists around the world also learn a lot from the stories and solidarity of the Vietnamese people from the past to the present. This is a source of inspiration for communist comrades around the world, said Mr. Robert Griffiths.
Mr. Robert Griffiths was pleased that the reception had socio-political organizations such as: Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vietnam Women's Union, Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. These are the forces, the representatives of the present and the future.
At the meeting, from the sharing of leaders of socio-political organizations about the outstanding activities of each organization in the past and orientation in the coming time, Vice President Ha Thi Nga emphasized that in the context of many fluctuations in the economic and political situation in the world and the region, in recent times, the Communist Party of Vietnam has had many wise leadership solutions for socio-economic development.
Accordingly, Vietnam's GDP in the first 6 months of 2025 achieved a growth rate of 7.52%. On this occasion, Vietnam confidently affirmed that it has completed the goal of supporting the building of solidarity houses for more than 400,000 people facing housing difficulties across the country.
To date, Vietnam has established diplomatic relations with 194 countries around the world.
In addition, the Communist Party of Vietnam has identified important strategic breakthroughs: Institutional breakthroughs, through the addition and amendment of the 2013 Constitution, and the development of many new laws; human resource breakthroughs so that the workforce has proper knowledge and meets the requirements of working in the international environment; focus on investing in infrastructure development, especially transport infrastructure, contributing to economic growth in localities; localities build growth scenarios with the goal that in 2025, the whole country will achieve growth of 8% or more and in the following years, the target will be completed at double digits.
From the results achieved in the past time, Vice President Ha Thi Nga hopes that in the coming time, under the leadership of Mr. Robert Griffith - Secretary of the British Communist Party, the friendly cooperative relationship between the two Parties and the two countries will be tightened and deepened so that Vietnam can gain more valuable experiences, better perform tasks and goals to enter the era of national growth.
