Can Tho merges Associations from 3 localities into new Associations

Can Tho - Can Tho City merges 16 Associations, Unions and Clubs from localities, improving management and operation efficiency.

On December 3, Vice Chairwoman of Can Tho City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep signed a decision allowing the merger of Associations assigned by the Party and State to the City of Can Tho (old), Soc Trang province (old) and Hau Giang province (old) into Associations assigned by the Party and State to the City of Can Tho (new).

Accordingly, the Can Tho City Red Cross Society (new) was merged from the Can Tho City Red Cross Society (old), the Hau Giang Provincial Red Cross Society (old) and the Soc Trang Provincial Red Cross Society (old). The state management agency is the Department of Home Affairs.

Can Tho City Pension Club (new) is a merger of the old Can Tho City Pension Club and the old Soc Trang Provincial Pension Club. The Department of Health's management agency.

The Can Tho City Volunteer Youth Union (new) merged from similar associations in Can Tho, Hau Giang and Soc Trang. The Department of Home Affairs' management agency.

Can Tho City Eastern Medicine Association (new) merged from Eastern Medicine Associations in 3 localities. The Department of Health's management agency.

The Can Tho City Association for the Promotion of Education (new) was merged from 3 associations in Can Tho, Hau Giang, and Soc Trang. The Department of Education and Training's management agency.

Can Tho City Lawyers Association (new) merged from Lawyers Associations in 3 localities. The Department of Justice's management agency.

Can Tho City Orange/Dioxin Detoxification Victims Association (new) merged from the same type of association. The Department of Health's management agency.

The representative board of the Association of the Elderly in Can Tho City (new) merged from 3 localities. The Department of Health's management agency.

The Association of the Deaf in Can Tho City (new) merged 3 associations in Can Tho, Hau Giang, and Soc Trang. The Department of Health's management agency.

The Can Tho City Resistance Prisoners Association (new) merges 3 groups of the same type. The Department of Home Affairs' management agency.
