With the theme "Promoting the strength of national solidarity, joining hands and unanimously building Ho Chi Minh City to develop sustainably in the new era, for the happiness of the people", the 1st Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025 - 2030, at the Binh Duong Exhibition Center ended in 1.5 days and the new term of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City was launched. Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - continues to be the Chairman of the new Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Promoting the strength of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City
Speaking at the congress, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang emphasized that this is an important political event and a great festival, clearly demonstrating the spirit, will and strength of the great national unity bloc of the city named after beloved Uncle Ho. According to the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the ideology of solidarity is not only theoretical but has also been clearly demonstrated through actions in recent days.
Before the historic flood that caused serious damage, destruction and caused much pain and loss to people in the Central provinces, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City promptly demonstrated its responsibility, promoted its role as a representative of the great national unity bloc, quickly mobilized and received all valuable support resources from agencies, units and individuals. All of these create a bridge to share, contributing to encouraging and reducing difficulties for people, especially in Khanh Hoa province. Mr. Tran Luu Quang emphasized that it is in the midst of hardship that national affection and compatriotism shine brighter, affirming the strong strength of the great solidarity bloc when facing challenges.

At the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City should closely follow the Resolution of the City Party Congress and the profound and comprehensive direction of Comrade Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; deeply grasp the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the National Party Congress of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations; Participat in solving major problems of the city, strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, ensure the leading and core role of the Front, but still promote the proactiveness and creativity of each member organization.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha emphasized the goal of shifting from a formal movement to a practical result, focusing on the grassroots and taking the people as the center in all activities of the Front. At the same time, the Ho Chi Minh City Front was commended for not only doing a good job of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the city's people, but also performing very well other noble common tasks. She cited that Ho Chi Minh City is being assigned by the Politburo and is performing a very good task of supporting the people of Khanh Hoa province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha also affirmed that in the work of the Front, Ho Chi Minh City is the leading locality in the country with many good models and creative ways of doing things.
