On the afternoon of June 18, speaking at the 14th National Congress of Women with the theme "Military women, brave, intelligent, disciplined, and compassionate, actively build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army, contributing to firmly protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland", Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Head of the Military Women's Committee said that promoting the glorious tradition of heroic Vietnamese women in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country, military women are constantly growing, affirming their position in many fields.

Currently, in the military women's force, there are more than 100 female Associate Professors, People's Artists, Meritorious Artists, Meritorious Doctors, Meritorious Teachers; more than 300 Doctors, Specialist Doctors II. Every year, hundreds of women's union members achieve high awards and achievements at the national, regional and international levels.
Many female cadres are trusted to hold leadership and management positions; participate in Party committees and socio-political organizations. The proportion of female cadres in the entire army reached 3.02%, of which 8 female officers were awarded the rank of general...
According to Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, with a high sense of responsibility, military women are always ready to receive and excellently complete tasks in all fields.

At training units, women have overcome gender barriers, effectively deploying many typical models such as "Model Training Day", "Three Good, Two Skillful Female Fighters", "Elite Women's Group", "Entering the computer room is entering the combat position"..., contributing to improving the overall quality and combat strength of the army.
Faced with the increasing requirements of the task of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation, military women determined to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State on women's work; effectively implement resolutions and strategies on gender equality and women's work in the new period.
In addition, military women will promote patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the movement "Soldiers are brave - intelligent, promote digital transformation, complete tasks well, build happy families, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era".
The movements will be associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era" and social security programs for the community.
Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien also emphasized the task of improving the quality of political and ideological education; building Vietnamese women in the new era with knowledge, ethics, health and responsibility to family, society, and the country; and at the same time building the model of military women "bravery, intelligence, discipline, compassion", both excellently completing professional tasks and nurturing a prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized family...
Also presenting at the working session on the afternoon of June 18, Labor Hero Thai Huong - Founder, Chairman of the Strategic Council of TH Group, made many recommendations to promote the role of women in green economic development and ensure nutrition for future generations.

Ms. Thai Huong called on the Women's Union system to focus on two major focuses. First, to promote the completion of institutions and legal corridors to support women's green startups, helping women access capital, technology and markets, and participate more deeply in the green and fair supply chain.
Second, mobilize social resources to standardize clean food standards.
According to her, it is necessary to promote the development of standards on nutrition and food safety, ensuring clean food sources from farms to schools. Businesses are ready to accompany Associations at all levels in supporting clean agricultural livelihood models for women, forming a closed, safe and sustainable supply chain.
The presentations at the Congress showed the determination of women in many fields, from defense to economy, in contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the country, while affirming the increasingly important role of Vietnamese women in the new era.
