This is expected to be one of the key tasks of the Front's work in 2026.
At the 4th Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), term X, held on the morning of July 9, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the VFF Party Committee, Central organizations, Vice President - General Secretary of the VFF Central Committee - presented the proposal for comments on the draft Notice of orientation of key tasks of the Front's work in 2026.
According to the draft, there are 12 key tasks of the Front's work in 2026 (an increase compared to the key content in 2025 with 6 key groups of contents). In particular, it is necessary to focus on implementing a number of contents such as: Propaganda and mobilization of all classes of people; disseminating and implementing resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and the Central Party Secretariat.
Operate the organizational apparatus of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels; Review and rearrange the internal organization of units under the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations at all levels assigned by the Party and the State. Continue to review and rearrange mass organizations in a streamlined manner, reducing the number of mass organizations and affiliated newspapers.
Develop an Action Program; disseminate, propagate and disseminate the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Implement the work of participating in the organization of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
The report also outlined 9 specific groups of targets and plans for some key activities of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Expected a number of key activities of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, including research, proposal, development and completion of mechanisms and policies. Accordingly: Develop a project on the National Great Unity Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045; a project on innovation and improvement of the quality of social supervision and criticism activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the period 2025 - 2029.
At the conference, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - presented the draft Report summarizing 10 years of implementing Project No. 01/DA-MTTW-BTT, dated May 5, 2015 on innovation of information and propaganda work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
