At noon on October 27, entering a wooden house in Cho slope (Tra Tan commune, Da Nang city), Mr. Le Ngoc Hung (born in 1974) and his wife were stunned: currently there is only muddy land and the floor is flat. "Yesterday, it was flooding, my husband and I were stuck in a temporary house. This morning, both houses, pigs and chickens, more than 40 million VND in cash and 2 taels of gold... were already floating with rocks and soil, Mr. Hung choked up.
The mountain collapsed at a "more than 15-minute walk" from home, but the mud was still pouring down, sweeping away the family's property that had been there since 2008. The luckiest thing is: no one was in the house during the landslide.

On the afternoon of October 27, Chairman of Tra Tan Commune People's Committee - Le Minh Chien confirmed: the landslide had just buried 2 wooden houses of Mr. Hung's family in Song Y village. Previously, the authorities had evacuated households in the danger zone so there were no human casualties. The whole commune recorded 17 serious landslides, and many households in Song Tranh, Tra Giac, and Ngoc Giac villages had to be urgently evacuated to safety.
In the downstream, a cry for help was sent on social media: "My house is flooded, I'm holding my 8-month-old baby who slipped and fell, I hope someone will help take him out," Kieu Oanh (Duy Xuyen) wrote. From community groups, information quickly reached the authorities. The rescue boat on the edge of the house, the mother and child were taken out in the middle of a major flood, and transferred directly to the hospital. Sometimes, but thank you, Oanh raised her voice over the phone.
