These caring activities are both timely "rescue" and long-term support, helping women stabilize their lives and confidently rise up in work.
Support programs for housing, emergency loans, or health benefits... have played an important role, as "lifelines" to help women overcome difficult times.
In particular, some initial financial support policies such as building "Union Shelter" houses, or supporting treatment costs when facing health risks, are truly a great motivation, creating an initial foundation for them to escape the vicious cycle of renting houses - covering living expenses and focusing on rebuilding their lives.
In parallel with material support, the Trade Union organization has also paid attention to expanding and improving the spiritual life of female workers.
These include participating in the collective bargaining process, adding separate provisions related to rest time, maternity benefits, milk and nutrition support during pregnancy or recreational activities exclusively for women.
Notably, caring for female workers is not only a trade union organization but also a smooth coordination between trade unions, enterprises and local authorities, creating harmonious and stable labor relations.
When business leaders see the clear benefits of the policy of caring for female workers through reducing the rate of unemployment and increasing long-term commitment, they are willing to invest, support facilities and create conditions for trade unions to operate more effectively.
This is also in line with the trend of sustainable development of the economy, where the human factor is considered the most important "asset".
However, in reality, regardless of their position, female workers are always disadvantaged compared to male colleagues, because they not only carry the responsibility of making a living and social responsibility but also carry the responsibility of the family. Therefore, to continue to maintain and replicate the bright spots in women's care activities, it is necessary to have the synchronous attention of local authorities and businesses themselves.
In the future, programs to care for female workers need to be more flexible and diverse, aiming to improve quality, both solving immediate needs and promoting sustainable development goals, contributing more positively to the development of the socio-economy.
And that is also the biggest goal that the Vietnam Trade Union organization is aiming for: To become a reliable support, accompanying workers on the journey to seek happiness and development.
