Speaking at the Congress, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized the requirement: "Innovate methods of gathering, mobilizing, and promoting the strength of the great national unity. Our society is changing rapidly; class structure, strata, professions, working methods, living space, and people's access to information are increasingly diverse. Besides traditional residential areas, there are also industrial parks, worker dormitories, professional communities, business associations, cyberspace, Vietnamese communities abroad and new social groups." Therefore, the method of mobilizing the People must be through dialogue, persuasion, practical benefits, exemplary behavior, specific results and the ability to solve issues of concern to the People.
People's trust in the Front, first of all, comes from being close to the people. Being close to the people is not just about being present at the grassroots level, but understanding the lives of the people, understanding each force, organization, and community in the common front house. Workers in boarding houses have different interests from farmers in livelihood transition areas; young people working on digital platforms have different ways of accessing information than elderly people in residential areas; businessmen, intellectuals, artists, religious compatriots, and overseas Vietnamese all have different needs, contribution capabilities and ways of connecting.
When the Front contributes to bringing the voice of the people into policy, supervising policy implementation and criticizing inadequacies, people will see that they are not standing outside the development process. At that time, great unity is no longer an abstract concept, but becomes a specific strength in each community.
Innovating the method of mobilization is also a shift from "talking for the people to hear" to "hearing the people speak, working with the people". In the open information age, people have the opportunity to access many sources of information, have the ability to express their opinions, criticize and participate in common issues of society. Therefore, persuasion must be based on reason, transparency, legitimate interests and visible results.
From the Resolution, speeches, presentations, and opinions from the Congress, there are many grounds for people to believe in innovation. When each citizen feels that their voice is heard, their legitimate rights are protected, and their contributions are appreciated, trust will be nurtured to become the most solid foundation for the Front to continue to fulfill its mission of gathering and promoting the strength of the People in the new journey.
