Supplementing the "diagnosis & treatment" link in the NURA Premium model

Not stopping at early detection, the NURA Premium model is being implemented at the Japanese Medical Center T-Matsuoka (Hanoi) to complete the full chain of medical services according to Japanese standards.

In the screening stage, the system uses AI technology in diagnostic imaging developed by Fujifilm (Japan), with the ability to reduce up to 97% of X-ray dose compared to traditional methods, while supporting the detection of small-sized lesions - at an early stage when the body has no symptoms.

The screening list is expanded, focusing on common diseases in Vietnam such as stroke, lung cancer, breast cancer, stomach, colon, cervical cancer and lifestyle-related diseases.

Recently, a case was recorded as a 35-year-old female customer with a history of prolonged headaches. Through brain MRI, a 3D imaging system discovered a brain artery aneurysm of 6.5 x 4.7mm - a high risk factor leading to cerebral hemorrhage and stroke.

Fortunately, they were detected in time, and customers were consulted for in-depth consultation with a neurosurgeon to plan early intervention and prevent dangerous complications.

Connecting treatment at home and abroad

According to a representative of the unit, the difference of NURA Premium lies in the ability to continuously connect between stages from detection to treatment.

In case of abnormalities, customers can not only consult with domestic doctors but also consult with Japanese experts through the form of "second opinion" (second medical consultation). The teleradiology system allows the transfer of image data to Japan for independent evaluation, limiting the repetition of unnecessary indications.

For cases with in-depth treatment needs, the unit supports visa and medical records to easily connect with the hospital system in Japan. Bilingual medical records of customers ensure quality so that Japanese hospitals can receive treatment quickly without having to retake scans.

The case of a female customer coming to NURA Premium for screening and discovering suspected kidney cancer lesions is an example. On a left kidney X-ray, a small lesion with signs of drug withdrawal - a typical sign of kidney cancer - was discovered. The customer decided to have a second consultation with a Japanese expert as recommended by T-Matsuoka NURA.

Thanks to synchronous telerad software, customer results are transferred directly to Japan, double checked with leading experts in Japan. With the desire to access the most effective treatment method, customers decide to go to Japan for surgery.

Here, with the conservative and minimally invasive treatment viewpoint of Japanese experts, the kidney removed is very small, accounting for only about 1/6 of the volume, helping to maintain maximum kidney function. Returning from Japan and re-examining at T-Matsuoka NURA, the customer's health is currently stable and recovering well.
